POLICE are appealing for information after several cars were damaged in Irby.
Merseyside Police were called at around 12.30pm on Saturday, July 29 to Heathbank Avenue after reports that the driver’s side window of a silver Renault Clio had been smashed at around 2.15am the same day.
It was also reported that a number of wing mirrors had been damaged nearby.
Local inspector Paul Harrison said: "We are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time to come forward.
"The damage caused to the cars would have made some noise and I’m sure if you saw or heard anything suspicious at that time of night you’d remember it.
"I would also advise that where possible, car owners park their vehicles in garages or on driveways and report any suspicious behaviour."
Anyone with information, no matter how small, should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
