A WIRRAL woman will feature in ITV's award-winning documentary Long Lost Family in a brand new seven-part series.
Returning to television screens today (Wednesday) presenters Davina McCall and Nicky Campbell will attempt to reunite more family members desperate to find their missing relatives.
In the first episode Cathie Cutler-Evans is desperately searching for her birth mother more than 50 years since they were apart.
Now living in Chester and running a barber shop, mum-of-three Cathie grew up in Wirral where she had a happy childhood and knew from an early age that she was adopted.
Cathie's adoptive parents showed her a letter from her birth mother Adrienne when she was a teenager, thanking Cathie’s adoptive parents for giving her a loving home and asking them to explain to Cathie how much she loved her.

Adrienne was 19 and single when she gave birth to Cathie.
However she wanted her to be part of a family so after caring for her daughter for the first ten weeks, she took Cathie to an adoption agency in Liverpool.
Cathie said: “Such a long time has passed, but I’ve still thought about her every day and the older I get, the more I think about her.”
Despite years of longing, Cathie was no nearer to finding her mum and had very little information to go on.
Once contacting Long Lost Family, the team got to work on searching marriage records and found a marriage for an Adrienne Powell in Cheshire in 1966, which seemed very likely to be Cathie’s mum.
Will Cathie be reunited with her mum?
Tune in on Wednesday, July 25 from 9pm on ITV to find out.
