Firefighters were called at around 1.34pm on Wednesday
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a gorse and grass blaze on Bidston Hill.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service were called to an area close to Vyner Road North, Bidston at around 1.34pm yesterday (Wednesday).
One fire engine attended the incident which involved around 250 square metres of grass and gorse.
No-one was injured.
Firew crews used a main jet and a high pressure hose reel to extinguish the flames.
Crews remained at the scene for around one hour and 35 minutes.
