HANDSOME Paddy is an active chap who is looking for his forever home.

The two-year-old lurcher was left at Dogs Trust Merseyside after his owners fell ill.

He has been in care for more than 18 months and needs a home with experienced owners who can reintroduce him to a home life.

A spokeswoman from Dogs Trust said: "Paddy is a very active lad who loves to get out and explore, and enjoys long walks.

"His carers describe him as a 'ridiculous, overly affectionate and giddy fool' but are so fond of him.

Wirral Globe:

"Paddy can often be very vocal towards other dogs but he actually really enjoys their company and they seem to give him confidence where he lacks it.

"He's going to need very gentle introductions and will be best as the only dog in the home, but with regular doggy walking pals.

"Paddy has a real silly nature and is enormous fun to be with, keeping everyone entertained with his antics. He can live with children aged 14 and over as he is very lively."
