FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a two car blaze in Birkenhead.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service arrived at the scene around 11pm yesterday (Wednesday) to Mollington Street after reports of the cars well alight.
No-one was injured.
Crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
The cause of the fire was unable to be determined.
Firefighters remained at the scene for around two hours.
