Police in Temple Road near Devonshire Park Primary School yesterday
A 61-year-old man has been charged with threats to kill and threatening a person with a knife in a public place following an incident outside Devonshire Park Primary School in Birkenhead on Monday.
John Taylor - also known as John Tate - of Greenbank Road, West Kirby, has also been charged with assault, intimidating a witness in civil proceedings and breach of a non-molestation order.
He is also charged with a public order offence in a separate incident on May 6.
He has been remanded in custody to appear before Merseyside Domestic Violence Remand Court in Liverpool on Tuesday morning.
