A ROAD was closed after a reports of an unsafe building in Birkenhead.
Whetstone Lane was shut in both directions between Borough Road and Oxton Road.
Workers were at the scene of the Liberty Centre, where rendering had fallen from the side of the buildling.
Commuters were told to expect delays to their journeys.
The road has since re-opened.
