Firefighters tackle grass blaze in West Kirby
FIREFIGHTERS tackled gorse and grass fires in West Kirby in the early hours of Sunday.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service arrived just after 1am to the gorse and grass fires on Grange Hill.
One fire engine attended the scene and crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fires.
No-one was injured.
Crews remained at the scene for around 30 minutes.
