The man was spotted in the River Mersey by Woodside Ferry Terminal
A MAN has been rescued after jumping into the River Mersey.
Emergency services were called to Woodside Ferry Terminal at around 9am today after reports of a man in the water.
The coastguard rescued the man and took him to Liverpool Pier Head terminal.
He was then transferred by ambulance to hospital and is believed to be conscious and breathing.
