AN all-girl dance troupe from Wirral have already won a spot in the Britain’s Got Talent semi-final after wowing judge Alesha Dixon.

The star pushed the coveted Golden Buzzer for the five-piece group Just Us - whose lead member Julia Carlile battles with the spinal condition scoliosis - sending them straight through to the semis.

Wirral Globe:

The dance group is made up of best friends Alice (17), Poppy (14), Julia (15), Annie (17) and Rebecca (16).

The young dancer said it was a “dream come true” to receive the accolade as she told how she will soon be undergoing surgery that will stop her from dancing.

This was her last chance to perform

Just Us travelled from their home in Wirral to Blackpool for the ITV contest’s second round of auditions.

Their performance was met with a standing ovation from both the audience and judges Alesha, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and David Walliams.

The girls brought the house down with an inspired routine to American singer Rachel Platten’s Fight Song.

Alesha slammed her hand on the Golden Buzzer bringing down a cascade of confetti.

Joining them on stage for a group hug Alesha was moved to tears and said: “I have so much admiration for you girls right now, I can't tell you.

"And just seeing how you all come together with this beautiful friendship that you’ve got, and when you’re passionate about something, I could not imagine not being able to do that again. I really couldn’t.

"And that’s why we all live for the things that we love to do, it really touched me."

Simon commended the group’s friendship and determination, adding that the Golden Buzzer “could not be more deserved.”

When Simon asked about her condition, Julia replied: "Scoliosis is like curvature of the spine. My one’s quite rare because it’s more common to have an accident and get it, but I was born with it.

"So I have to have surgery soon, and after surgery I won’t be able to dance so this is my last chance, because I’ve always wanted to do it."

Understanding the full importance of what she'd just said, Simon asked: "Are you serious?

"You’ve got an amazing attitude I can tell you."

Saturday’s Golden Buzzer moment marked the second in as many weeks after Simon gave his to teen singer Sarah Ikumu for her rendition of And I Am Telling You in last weekend’s opening show.

While Just Us undoubtedly received the highest praise of the night, the show spelled success for a number of acts who managed to win a full house of yeses.

Eight-year-old magician Issy Simpson impressed with her meticulously planned run of astonishing tricks that left Simon needing a five-second breather.

Teenage singer Reuben Gray melted hearts both with his original song and his breakdown of emotion when he realised his father had travelled from overseas to be in the audience.

Meanwhile, young daredevil Charley Dyson, nine, left Amanda with her “heart in her mouth” as he turned hair-raising somersaults on his scooter.

Britain’s Got Talent returns to ITV next Saturday at 8pm.
