WIRRAL’S golden girl Sam Quek will host several exclusive hockey classes for youngsters across the country.
Teaming up with Sun-Pat peanut butter Sam is offering the chance for hockey enthusiasts to stay active during the Easter holidays by taking part in a free session.
Children between the ages of six and 13 will get the chance to train with Sam at five different hockey clubs from London to Glasgow.
Winning a gold medal for her part in the GB hockey squad in Rio last year, Sam has also been named as a top ranking role model for children.
Research by the company found that parents find it hard to find new activities to keep their children entertained.
They also found that more than half a million children want to be a hockey player when they grow up with many citing Sam as their influence.
