DRONE footage showing the extent of the damage caused by an explosion in New Ferry has been released.
The pictures from Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service shows the flattened dance studio and surrounding shops destroyed by the blast.
It also shows police cordons in place around the scene.
Emergency services were called at around 9 pm to the junction of Boundary Road and Circular Drive in New Ferry on Saturday.
Thirty four people were injured, two seriously in the blast which left debris scattered along the street and forced the evacuation of people from the surrounding area to a nearby church.
One victim is believed to be in a “critical” condition.
Police have confirmed that an investigation is underway.
Road closures remain in place at Boundary Road between New Chester Road and Circular Drive and Bebington Road is closed both ways between Windsor Close and New Ferry Road.
Circular Drive both ways at Boundary Road is also closed.
