STAR sniffer dog Bradley will have his nostrils at the ready when he shows off his tobacco-searching skills to shoppers in Birkenhead.
Bradley - who has worked with Wirral Council trading standards in several successful raids on shops and warehouses - will take part in demonstration exercises at the Pyramids shopping centre from 9am, this Saturday, March 25.
Visitors will have the chance to meet clever canine and find out more about his work.
Wirral Council’s cabinet member for public health Cllr Janette Williamson said: “The sale of illegal tobacco in Wirral is a particularly dangerous trade as often it is children and young smokers that are targeted by people who sell these cigarettes.
“We are determined to stamp out this trade and the work that Bradley and our Trading Standards team are doing is providing important assistance in our efforts to do this.”
