FIREFIGHTERS tackled a chip pan fire at a flat in Leasowe.
Three fire engines attended the fire on the second floor of the building in Kingham Close on Wednesday night.
All occupants were out of the building when firefighters arrived. No-one was injured.
The kitchen was severely damaged by heat and smoke.
