Fire training exercise at Birkenhead cinema
Don't panic!
Do not be alarmed if you see emergency vehicles arriving at a Birkenhead cinema this morning.
Rest reassured it's just a training excercise.
A Merseyside Fire and Rescue spokeswoman told the Globe: "Fire crews are carrying out a training exercise at Vue Cinema in Europa Boulevard in Birkenhead this morning, Friday February 24.
"This is not a real incident and residents should not be alarmed if they see fire engines and firefighters at the building.
"These exercises are carried out regularly at various locations for training purposes."
