Police are appealing for information after two rare saxophones were stolen from a car in Wallasey.
It is thought the culprit forced open the door of a car parked outside a house on Kenilworth Road between Monday and Tuesday afternoon and took the instruments.
A baritone Keilwerth saxophone with Lawton mouthpieces and a tenor Conn saxophone with Dukeoff mouthpieces were taken alongside electrical leads, an amplifier and a black North Face coat.
An investigation is currently being carried out in the area.
If anyone has any information about the theft or believes they may have been offered the saxophones for sale they are urged to call 0151 777 4500 quoting the crime reference number 0517038333 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
