POLICE are hunting a pervert who exposed himself to a mum in Birkenhead Park.

The woman was pushing her baby in a pram near the children's play area when she was approached by a man who then flashed her.

The incident took place around 2.40pm yesterday.

An investigation is underway and officers are making house-to-house inquiries.

Inspector Katie Wilkinson said: “This appears to be an isolated incident but is very concerning and upsetting for the woman involved.

“We will put every effort into finding the man responsible for this offence and we have increased our presence in the area.

“I would ask anyone who has any information to report it to us.”

The wanted man is white, in his late-20s and of skinny build. He was wearing a beanie-style hat and a jacket with red and blue colouring.
