FIREFIGHTERS were called to a blaze in an airing cupboard of a house in New Brighton yesterday.
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service attended the scene on on Mount Pleasant Road just after 8pm.
Two fire engines attended the incident, which occured on the second floor of the property.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a high pressure hose reel to extinguish the fire.
A quantity of clothes and towels and bedroom was slightly damaged by smoke.
No-one was injured.
