PREMIER Division action in the Wallasey & District saw Great Float S&S take the wind out of Millhouse sails as they reduced the gap at the top with a 4-1 victory.
Lone scorer for Millhouse was Leon Jones. Moving into second place are Poulton Royal following their fight back to win a ten-goal thriller versus Wallasey Oval 6-4 with efforts from Graham Edge, John Pomphrett, Jay Thompson, Tommy Carroll, Lee Dermody and an own goal.
Bagging the replies were Matty Hughes and Chris Penketh who both netted doubles.
In division One the top two failed to play due to a shortage of referees, thus allowing Liver View to go second after beating Wallasey Mens 3-1 as Adam Chadwick, Liam Henshaw and Scott Tebb cancelled out the opener by Connor Eccles.
AFC Tima recorded their best win of the campaign when beating Cavendish 6-0 thanks to a brace from Dave Turner and singles from Mike Redgrift, Keith Edwards, Alan Merrin and Sion Redgrift.
Olympic Rangers raced to a 4-1 success over Matrix FC.
