TRANMERE Rovers take a break from National League action this weekend to face Wrexham in the FA Trophy first round tie.
During a press conference, boss Micky Mellon was in confident mood, adding that the squad is doing all it can to get a positive result at the Racecourse Ground on Saturday.
The tie will be settled on the day, with extra time and a penalty shoot out taking place if required.
Mellon said: "The FA Trophy game is the next game so the most important game to us because we want to keep winning games and progressing things.
"We're going into every game positively and keep trying to improve things as we go along.
"One thing for certain is that we want to go to Wrexham and try to win.
"We'll be picking a team that we believe can go down there and give us a good chance to win the game, because at Tranmere Rovers, we want to win every game we are involved in.
"So I'll be expecting us to give a good account of ourselves, no matter who plays."
