POLICE are urging the public to be cautious after medication was stolen from a house in Birkenhead earlier this week.
The medication, comprising 21 Omeprazole tablets, 42 Dihydrocodeine tablets, 23 Mirtazapine tablets, 23 Naproxen tablets and 26 Pregrabalin tablets, was taken from an address in Lowwood Road, Birkenhead sometime between 2-5pm on Tuesday.
In a statement police warned that taking medication which has not been prescribed for you can be dangerous and, in some circumstances, can prove fatal.
Anyone who finds any of the medication is asked to hand it in to any pharmacy or police station or call the 101 number.
