Can Wirral’s golden girl, Sam Quek stand the test of time in the jungle with the final looming?

Four people have already been eliminated from ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here including two original favourites, dancer Jordan Banjo and radio presenter Danny Baker ahead of the final on Saturday.

It’s now a close tie as to who will leave next between Olympian Sam, ex-footballer Wayne Bridge and TV host Carol Vorderman as they go into day 17 in the Aussie wilderness.

William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly said: “We are getting to the business end of the show and it is becoming increasingly difficult to predict who will be departing each day.

“Likewise, it is becoming more and more congested at the head of the betting to win the show with Scarlett Moffatt maintaining a slight lead over Adam and don’t rule out Joel.”

Remaining firm favourites Gogglebox star Scarlet, Emmerdale’s Adam Thomas and comedian Joel Dommett.

Before entering the jungle, Sam said: “I would be mortified knowing the whole British public are watching me and I can’t do a task that other people have achieved in the past.

“I will give it a go, don’t get me wrong; I absolutely hate cockroaches, spiders and anything small, to the point I will cry.

“I am girly emotional and my reaction is to just panic when I see them. For me, to go in the jungle is a huge opportunity to get over that fear.”

Tonight Sam and Joel will take part in the “Wicked Windmill” bush tucker trial, which sees the two celebs rotating around a windmill whilst critters are released within their enclosures in a bid to win food for the camp.
