A 16-YEAR-OLD boy has died following a crash at Sankey Bridges in Warrington on Saturday.
Cheshire Police has launched an investigation following the incident, which is believed to have occurred close to the roundabout on Forrest Way at approximately 3.20pm.
The teenager, who was riding a black and white agility scooter, was taken to Aintree Hospital with serious injuries before he sadly passed away.
Investigating officer Sgt Paul Marsh said: "We are currently following a number of lines of enquiry in relation to this incident and as part of the investigation I'm keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time this collision occurred.
"I'm also keen to speak to anyone who believes that they may have seen the scooter prior to the time the collision occurred."

The family of the victim are currently receiving specialist support from Cheshire Police and have requested that their privacy is respected at this difficult time.
