An Everton fan has died after collapsing during the Premier League side's 1-0 win against Stoke City.
The Toffees said the 51-year-old passed away shortly after being rushed to Aintree Hospital on Saturday afternoon.
The man was sitting in the Sir Philip Carter Park Stand at Goodison Park when he became unwell around 15 minutes into the second half of the game.
He was given CPR by police officers, an off-duty doctor and paramedics before the ambulance arrived.
Everton said it was "deeply saddened" in a statement posted on the club website.
It said: "The thoughts and prayers of everybody at the football club are with his family and friends."
The game saw Ronald Koeman register his first home win as Everton manager but he required the assistance of a Shay Given own-goal from a Leighton Baines penalty to achieve it.
