Officers remain at the scene carrying out their investigations
TWO people arrested following an incident in Wallasey on Sunday morning have now been released on police bail.
A 32-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman were arrested after the incident which left a 36-year-old woman in a critical but stable condition.
The woman is believed to have been found injured at the bottom of a flight of stairs at a house on Poulton Road in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Officers from Merseyside police are currently investigating the incident to establish the full circumstances and understand how she came to be there.
Officers are still presence at the scene and are continuing to examine the area.
