POLICE have issued CCTV images of a man they are keen to speak to following a robbery at a West Kirby travel agents earlier this week.
At around 4pm on Monday July 18 a man walked into The Co-op Travel on Banks Road and demanded cash from two members of staff.
He then left the shop with a quantity of cash and made his way along Banks Road in the direction of Sayers.
It is believed the man was armed. No-one was injured but the two members of staff were left shaken by the incident.
CCTV enquiries have been carried out in the local area and an investigation is ongoing.
Officers have now issued CCTV images of a man they believe could help them with their enquiries.
Detectives would appeal to anyone who recognises the male in the pictures, the male himself, or anyone was in the vicinity of Banks Road and may have witnessed the incident to contact Merseyside Police on 0151 777 2263 or the confidential Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
