A FIRE broke out at Arrowe Country Park yesterday evening.
Firefighters were called to the scene of a disused building on Arrowe Park Road at around 7.25pm.
Crews entered the building wearing breathing apparatus and tackled the fire with a main high-powered branch hose.
They then dampened down the area.
The firefighters from Merseyside fire and Rescue remained at the scene until around 9.30pm It is not clear at this stage how the fire started.
