Adapted from T S Eliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats written in 1939, it is set on the night that the Jellicle Cats meet for the Jellicle Ball.

Elliot, who was the real life Possum, was a witty poet. His cats leap out from the page and stage.

The audience of all ages are invited to a magical night of music, dance , ballet, comedy, opera and verse.

The Cats Orchestra led by Tim Davies are sparkling from ballad to upbeat numbers.

And the combination.of designer John Napier's junkyard set and David Hersey's beautiful lighting illustrate why Cats still commands standing ovations.
