Two people were taken to hospital suffering fractures after a four-vehicle crash on the New Chester Road.
A Peugeot Boxer van, Nissan Note, Vauxhall Combo and a BMW saloon were involved in the accident, which happened at around 5.20pm yesterday.
Two elderly people travelling in the Nissan were taken by ambulance to Arrowe Park Hospital.
Others suffered minor cuts, bruising and whiplash.
The North West air ambulance was deployed but not used.
