Merseyside Police are appealing for the public help in tracing a woman who went missing on Thursday afternoon.
Julie Lewis, aged 49, from Moreton, was last spoken to at 9.30am on Thursday and it is possible that she may have been seen near to the Waterside of Alfred Dock, Wallasey shortly before 3pm.
There was also a possible sighting of her on a Mersey Ferry heading to Liverpool shortly after 3.15pm.
Police underwater search crews, along with the Coastguard, were dispatched to the Twelve Quays area but the search proved negative.
Julie's family and police are becoming increasingly concerned for her well-being and are appealing to Julie or anyone who knows of her whereabouts to contact them.
If anyone has information about Julie's whereabouts they are asked to call 0151 777 2014, 101 or the Missing Persons charity on 116 000.
