Two fire engines plus the search and rescue team attended
A CAR turned on its side after crashing into a lamp-post at Leasowe.
Firefighters were called to Leasowe Road just after 7.50am on Wednesday.
Two fire engines along with the search and rescue team attended and found the vehicle on its side.
The 51-year-old male driver had made his own way to safety.
He was assessed at the scene by paramedics then taken to Arrowe Park Hospital for checks.
