THE M62 west-bound has been re-opened following this morning's serious incident.
Motorists are advised to remain patient and drive carefully while queuing traffic starts to move.
Due to the large volume of traffic built up between junctions 7 and 8, congestion will still take some time to clear and motorists should still consider alternative routes during rush hour if neccessary.
