THERE were mixed fortunes in Wirral Premier Cup semi-finals.

Neston Nomads reached the final after winning 4-2 away at Wallasey Oval with Richy Foulkes, Luke Blondel, Lewis Clarke and Paul Ellison all scoring for Nomads.

Thorn P&H entertained Great Float from Wallasey Sunday League with Float winning 2-1, Ryan Nicole scoring for Thorne.

Wirral Amateur Cup fourth round action saw Bierhause FC lose 3-2 against Swan FC, Tila Davies getting both Bierhause goals.

In the Tony Houlihan Memorial Challenge Cup third round, goals from Daffyd Evans (2), Jamie Williamson (2), Adam Corless, Chris Georgeson and Danny Wood saw Bushell Athletic win 7-2 against AFC Houlihan's, with Aaron West and Paul Ryan scoring for Houlihan's.

Also hitting seven were Haygarth FC, beating Port Sunlight FC 7-2. Heygarth’s Mark Scowen hit four and Liam Smith, Mike Hulse and James Carey bagged one each.

Mike Swindle and Danny Caulfield scored for Sunlight.

In the Veronica Conway Cup first round, Lancely Glenavon won 3-1 at home against Stirrup Sports & Social.

Mike McGree (2) and Danny Dixon scored for Glenavon with K Wood getting the goal for Stirrup.

In the President's Cup second round, PSV Athletic beat The Cat 3-1.

Allport Athletic went down 4-3 against FC Ridger with Shaun Wase, Mark Reid and Simon Littler scoring for Allport.

The second round of the Tony Smith Cup brought a good win for Crown AFC with goals from Vinnie O’Toole, Paul Wallace and Darren Sutton beating Woodlands FC 3-0.
