Detectives are appealing for information after a large amount of jewellery was stolen during a burglary at a house in Wirral.
Officers were called to a house in Manorside Close, Upton, following reports that a burglary had taken place between 8.30am and 7.30pm on Wednesday.
The haul included pearl necklaces, gold earrings, gold rings and gold jewellery sets.
CCTV is being sought and house-to-enquiries are being carried out.
Detective Inspector Paul Parry said: “I would appeal to anyone who was in the vicinity of Manorside Close on Wednesday and who may have seen someone acting suspiciously to get in touch.
“I would also urge anyone who believes they may have seen the jewellery or been offered it for sale to contact us.”
