Woman taken to hospital after Birkenhead car crash
A WOMAN was taken to hospital for precautionary checks after a car crash in Birkenhead.
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service attended the two-car collision in Beauford Road at around 11.30am on Monday.
A 46-year-old woman was taken to Arrowe Park Hospital.
Two fire appliances were called out along with the search and rescue team.
Crews made the scene safe and were there for just over half an hour.
