WIRRAL actress and comedienne Pauline Daniels hosts her Very Early Christmas Show at the Gladstone Theatre in Port Sunlight later this month.

Taking place at the venue in Greendale Road a week on Sunday, November 22, it features turns from comedians Andy Ford and Willie Miller and singer Joe Wall.

It is a show of special significance for Birkenhead-based Pauline, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013 and, following extensive treatment, is now in remission.

Looking forward to the show, Pauline told the Globe: "Well, it's that time of year again, only this year it's different.

"Instead of a Late Late Xmas show we are having a Very Early Xmas show at the Gladstone and I'm so pleased to have been able to get some brilliant acts, but then my acts never let us down.

"I directed and starred in a musical in my little theatre written by Joe Wall called The Promise. I'm so pleased to have him on the bill.

"I've also got Radio Merseyside favourite Willie Miller and this year a rare treat; a guy who starred in a play I directed earlier this year called Waiting For Gateaux which is coming to the Gladstone next summer.

"You will love the unique talent of West Country comedian Andy Ford.

"As well as all that, there's always my life my trials and tribulations that have happened in the previous year.

"Trust me, there's never a dull moment. I'm awaiting breast reconstruction and I am now two years in remission.

"So I've plenty to tell hope you can join us."
