Bonfire Night 2015: Wirral firework displays taking place this week
THERE will be whizzes and bangs aplenty in colourful firework displays taking place at venues across Wirral on Thursday night.
The council-organised displays will be held at Birkenhead Park, Central Park in Wallasey, Lingham Park in Moreton, Mayer Park in Bebington, Mersey Park in Tranmere, Upton Park in Moreton and Woodchurch Community Centre.
There will also be a community display at Leasowe Adventure Playground.
All displays start at 6.30pm and entry is free.
Hoylake sailing club's bonfire and fireworks display will be held on Friday.
Taking place at Hoylake beach on Friday, it starts at around 6pm.
There is no charge but there will be a collection by the RNLI.
