Wirral road closed to motorists after police incident
BIRKENHEAD Road in Birkenhead is currently closed in both directions because of what has been described as a 'police incident'.
The incident happened between B5144 Kelvin Road and Borough Road East shortly after 4pm.
The road is likely to remain closed through the rush hour and traffic on surrounding routes is heavier than normal as a result.
