A DUO of talented Wirral photographers hope to show off the peninsula's true beauty through a series of breathtaking films.

Tom Munns, from Wallasey and Sean Reed, from Moreton, recently completed a short film showcasing the breathtaking views of New Brighton beach.

The freelance photographers and videographers spent three days gathering footage for the film before spending a further two days editing it.

Filled with stunning sunset shots, crashing waves, rock pools and New Brighton's iconic lighthouse, the film was put together using four different cameras as well as a drone.

"We filmed a lot of amazing footage that we had to cut out as we wanted to keep the video short but entertaining," said 27-year-old Tom, who also runs the Wirral Weather website in his spare time.

"We want to aim to create a series of Wirral-based short films showing off the beauty of the area so we thought why not start off in one of the most beautiful places on Wirral - New Brighton Beach."

Tom added: "We also thought as well as showing off how beautiful the area can be, we could use the videos as a self-promotion tool to showcase the video work that me and Sean can do.

"We just have to think where we are going to film next."

Direction, ground footage and editing was carried out by Tom while Sean - of Pierce Photography - was responsible for both ground and aerial footage.
