THE organisers of a hugely popular New Brighton horror attraction need your help for an event taking place in the run-up to Halloween.

The Asylum - This time it's Personal ... will be held at @Terror 13 in New Brighton from September 26 until November 8.

Its organisers are looking for actors to play some of the terror-fying characters that will walk through "Haunted" catacombs underneath the resort that have been transformed into a spooky house of horrors.

There will also be a collection for Claire House.

The brainchild of Eastham horror film aficianado Leigh Bufton Terror 13 opened a year ago.

The Globe has also been on a tour of this year’s ghoulish gallery of eerie exhibits.

All we can tell you is that the chilling characters will be performed by Leigh's family, friends and colleagues.

Leigh told us: "The show is about 25 minutes long. No-one gets touched or gets put into terrifying situations. It's harmless fun."

He is no stranger to art of creating terrifying entertaiment. He had transformed his Eastham home into a house of horror for many years, but the time came to find a new venue and Terror 13 was a perfect choice.

He said: "I had great fun opening up the house and the exhibtion went down very well with the public.

"But it was time to take the show to the next level and the underground site was perfect."

"The Asylum attraction promises to be bigger, better – and certainly more terrifying – than ever."
