A takeaway shop in Bebington was damaged in a suspected arson attack.
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service attended the premises on Church Road at around 10.50pm on Sunday, August 2.
A fire had been started in a wheelie-bin and spread to the rear wooden annexe of the building.
The annexe and its contents were severely damaged and there was smoke damage to the remainder of the ground- and first-floor of the property.
Two fire appliances from Bromborough and Birkenhead were called out.
Crews were at the scene until just before 12.45am.
Following an investigation, it is suspected the fire was started deliberately.
