DETECTIVES are appealing for the public to be cautious after prescription medication was taken from a house in Wirral.
Officers received a report that a number of prescription drugs had been taken from a property in Thorburn Road, New Ferry.
It is believed the medication was taken sometime between 6pm on Friday, July 24, and 6pm, on Monday, 27 July.
The drugs included morphine sulphate tablets, Lyrica tablets, Mirtazapine, Citalopram and Diazepam.
Officers are reminding people that taking any medication which hasn't been prescribed for them can be dangerous and can even prove fatal.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call police on the 101 number.
Anyone who finds any of the medication is asked to hand it in to any pharmacy or police station.
