WIRRAL University Teaching Hospital is inviting Globe readers to vote for health professionals they feel are worthy of the organisation's Proud awards.

Perhaps you were one of our 89,277 people who visited Arrowe Park Hospital’s emergency department last year.

Maybe you were one of 111,874 new outpatient appointments in the last 12‐months.

Or did you have one of the 338,834 diagnostic examinations performed last year?

If you were and would like to recognise the outstanding care, courtesy and consideration given to you, or someone close to you, during your visit, now's the time to vote.

David Allison, hospital chief executive, said: “The awards are our way of celebrating not only the achievements of individual colleagues and teams but also our organisation as a whole.

“Voting may only seem a small gesture, but it’s a way of showing appreciation for the compassion and care that I know our staff deliver on a daily basis”

Nominations for the patient choice award can be made at wuth.nhs.uk

Nomination forms can be found in the main reception areas of Arrowe Park and Clatterbridge hospitals or can posted out if you call 0151 604 7254.

Deadline is midnight on Sunday, August 23.
