A TEENAGER was taken to hospital with multiple injuries after falling from a cliff in a Wirral quarry.
Firefighters were called to Irby Quarry in Hillbark Road, Frankby on Saturday night to rescue the 16-year-old.
He had fallen 30 feet from a rock face and was taken by ambulance to Fazakerley Hospital with suspected injuries to his head and pelvis.
Crews from Upton and West Kirby Community Fire stations along with the search and rescue team from Croxteth took part in the rescue.
