Two arrested on suspicion of 'disseminating terrorist publications' after police swoop on house in Wallasey
TWO men are being questioned by police after they were arrested on suspicion of disseminating terrorist publications.
Officers from the North West Counter Terrorism Unit raided the property in Elleray Park Road in Wallasey on Monday afternoon.
The suspects are aged 33 and 37 and are being held in police custody.
House searches are ongoing.
In a statement, the counter-terrorism unit said there was no reason for the community to be alarmed and no evidence to suggest anyone living in the area was at risk.
