A MOTORCYCLIST from Wirral has been taken to hospital after his bike was involved in a crash with a car in Seacombe.
Emergency services were called to the collision, which happened close to the junction of Kelvin Road and Birkenhead Road, shortly after 2.20pm today, Thursday.
They found a yellow Honda motorcycle had been in collision with a silver Vauxhall Corsa.
The motorcyclist, understood to be a 38-year-old man from Wallasey, was taken to the Royal Liverpool Hospital by ambulance after complaining of pain in his groin.
Both vehicles were severely damaged in the smash.
Police remain on scene while investigation work is carried out.
The driver of the Corsa passed a breathalyser test at the side of the road.
