CHILDREN at a Wirral school can now enjoy outdoor lessons thanks to £10,000 of lottery funding.
St John’s Catholic Junior School, in Bebington, was given the grant from the Big Lottery Fund to improve their school grounds.
Staff decided to use the cash to create an outdoor classroom for pupils by laying Astroturf.
The classroom – which was opened by the mayor of Wirral Cllr Steve Foulkes on Wednesday – will be used for drama, PE, literacy and numeracy lessons to name just a few.
