Woman charged with attempted murder after newborn baby was found in Southport to appear at Crown Court
POLICE have confirmed that a woman arrested and subsequently charged after a new born baby was found abandoned at an amusement arcade in Southport has been remanded to appear at Liverpool Crown Court.
Nicola Glover, 29, of Hughes Avenue, Prescot has been charged with attempted murder and child cruelty.
She appeared at South Sefton Magistrates this morning and has been remanded to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Wednesday, May 6.
The baby, named April, has been discharged from hospital and is now in the care of Knowsley Local Authority.
