FOUR people required hospital treatment after two cars collided in Tranmere.
Fire crews were called to Derby Road just before 8am on Sunday.
Two men, aged 19 and 20, and a 64-year-old woman were taken by ambulance to the Royal Hospital in Liverpool.
A 65-year-old man was taken to Arrowe Park Hospital.
None of the injuries are said to be life-threatening, but Derby Road was closed for three hours due to debris on the road.
Firefighters made both vehicles safe and were at the scene for just over an hour.
Two fire engines from Birkenhead and Wallasey were called out.
