TRANMERE Rovers have signed Everton midfielder George Green on loan until the end of the season.
The deal is subject to Football League and Football Association clearance.
The 19-year old is in his fourth season at Everton having arrived at Goodison Park from Bradford City in October 2011 for a reported fee of £2m.
Last season, he was a regular in Everton’s Under-18 title-winning side and he has made seven appearances for Everton’s Under-21 side this season.
He has also represented England at Under-17 level.
During a press conference at Prenton Park, Rovers' manager Micky Adams said: "George Green is a young Everton prospect, they think an awful lot of him.
"Technically, he's very gifted and I've seen that today in training. He has a wand of a left foot and he brings competition for places down the left side.
"He's had options to go other places and he's chosen to come to Tranmere and we welcome him and hope he does well for us."
